20's vs. 30's

Lately, I've been thinking about my life when I was a newly 20 something year old now that I'm fresh into my 30's. I've been trying to think what kept me so thin back in those days, and I've come up with a list of things I no longer do...as often.
  1. Cleaning my apartment. I used to clean my apartment every other weekend. Now, I'm lucky if I clean once a month. Cleaning really is a good workout. I would say within the past 2 years, I've been less OCD about keeping my apartment clean. It's always picked up, but I could definitely dust and sweep more often.
  2. Cleaning my car. I used to vacuum and wash my car almost every weekend. Talk about a workout!! My arms are dead by the time I get done.
  3. Dancing. I used to go out Thursday through Saturday nights and dance my booty off for no less than 4 hours. Who knew doing something that I enjoy was actually keeping me in shape?
  4. Sex. I just read on OMGfacts.com that having sex for an hour can burn a lot of calories and not to mention if you're having fore play first. I can say that I definitely don't have sex as much as I used to.

I do think I eat the same as I did back then. I like cookies just as much and eating out. I do, however, drink a lot of Dr. Pepper which is not like me. I always drank water or juice. I'm convinced my Dr. Pepper obsession will end sooner than later.
